Weston 5mths

I can't believe it but West is 5 mths old today. He is growing so fast! He is eating twice a day now. Rice cereal with applesauce in the morning and 1 to 2 small jars of either carrots or sweet potatoes at dinner time.  He loves to kick his feet right now when he's happy or sad or frustrated or excited.  He is smiling a lot and trying to roll over but only makes it on his side before he rolls on his back again. Hope this video works for everyone.

O + (NxS) + Cpm/T + He

I saw on the news today that a British psychologist came up with this formula proving that today, June 20 is the happiest day of the year.  Basically the formula is about summer and social activities and temperature and holidays and childhood memories and how they all culminate on June 20th.  I personally think its one of the happiest days of the year because its Matts birthday.  Happy 32nd Birthday Matt! We love you.

On a hot day in June...

Today Caleb had his first soccer class.  It was hot, 94 degrees by
10:15 am which is when his class started.  Here he is already red-
cheeked but still excited to play.

Mandatory photo of child with soccer ball :)

They started out with a game in which they had to chase the
coach around the field and try to grab his flag.  Caleb ended
up catching the coach first! He's so fast.

And here's West just being cute.  Which is surprising since
it was so hot.

This is what happens when you take the pacifier out,
in go all the fingers.

School's out for summer!

Unfortunately, its not "out forever" as the song goes. These are some pictures from the end of the year pool party with our home school group. Caleb fell off the step into the deeper water and was crying his eyes out for awhile. There are a couple of girls around junior high age that love Caleb and were more than happy to help him try to recover by bringing him ice cream and taking him back in the pool.   Jack loved the pool and hanging out with his friends.  In the fall he'll be on to the 3rd grade!

This sweet boy

Look at this sweet boy! What a sweet and tender heart he has. I was looking through a bunch of old pictures of him and in all the pictures I see that sweet heart.  I see that sweet heart in the pictures of him holding a newborn Caleb and recently a newborn West.  I see that sweet heart in pictures of him with his cousins and his friend Isabella.  Even in the pictures where he is making a goofy face I still see that sweet heart.  He is a good big brother, he is responsible and smart and plays the guitar well. This is my sweet boy who is now 8 yrs old!

Disneyland!!

I love Disneyland! We decided to take Jack for his birthday. We had to use our free tickets from cousin Diane, after all two of the tickets would expire on June 12th.  I love it when my kids are laughing uncontrollably. We had a great time.

Weston is finally starting to enjoy baths. Maybe its because I put him in with Caleb or maybe its because he's found his two fingers to soothe him.  He's pretty cute either way.

Also.....

Jack had the inspiration for this series of pictures.

Lets go ride bikes!

I love being able to say to the boys "lets go outside and you can ride your bikes".  Caleb immediately yells 'yeah lets do it!' and Jack though too old for such childish outbursts still runs to get his shoes on and down the stairs we go.

Sunday at the beach

Caleb showing off his muscles.

Caleb is our little snuggler. Always laying on us or in the above picture he wanted Matt to lay on him.
I love Sundays at the beach. Its so nice having the whole day to ourselves to just lounge around with each other.  The boys have so much fun there, they are completely happy to dig and run and collect things. Jack is learning how to use his skim board, he met another boy today who was just learning as well so they hung out together.  And Caleb "surfed" on his boogy board.
