We went to the Avila Valley Barn for a field trip today with our homeschool group. It was fun, except that Weston had a runny nose so he was a bit grumpy and tired. The boys had fun riding the tractor down to the somewhat sparse pumpkin patch and picking their own pumpkins. We had lunch there and then they ran through the hay maze for a bit. It was hot today but fun.

We want to go to the barn so badly! We heard of a place here that was supposed to be like the barn...hay ride, maze, pumpkins, feed the animals, yummy stuff. We packed everyone up and drove out there. Not as beautiful as the barn, but it looked fun. It cost $6 a person for everyone over two! We had James' mom with us, it would have cost us $36 to go do the stuff we do at the barn for free. Can you believe it? We were all blown away. That was a day of missing the coast. Needless to say, we really want to go to the barn. Love you!
Poor Weston, he looks SO grumpy..... not. ;)
